Art doll - Elf Lily

Lily is a kindhearted Elf, born in Summertime when I was on vacation in nature and recently dressed for Winter.

She is my first doll on a new path, for me. A Natural fiber art doll. Dolls that are only for adult enthusiasts and collectors. But I will keep making Waldorf inspired wish dolls, as I love to make those, as well.

The difference with my Waldorf inspired dolls, is that in her body is an aluminium armature covered in wool and needle felted. Therefor she is poseable (she only stands with a little support). And that her hair is crochet out of a mohair weft.

I have made her from organic (Gots certified) doll interlock jersey in a very pale skin color. Her head is needle felted out of fine and clean wool from New Zealand and the wool around the armature is organic wool from Germany.

Lily is 42 cm tall. That's 16,5 inch.

She has an extensive wardrobe:

-A romper made of plumetis voile and cotton lace.

-Pointelle jersey tights and T-shirt.

-Nani Iro gauze bloomers.

-A baby cord dress with nostalgic lace over the skirt.

-A dupion silk waistcoat, on which her wings are attached.

-Woolen leg and handwarmers.

-Authentic elf shoes, made by Vaida Petreikis.

-And an embellished woolen tiara.
