Art doll - Elf Muscari, and her baby sister

Muscari was born when the blue Grape Hyasinth was in bloom, that's how she's got her name. She is a "Natural fiber art doll". A doll meant for adult enthusiasts and collectors. 

In her whole body is an aluminium amature, covered in wool and needle felted. Therefor she is fully poseable. she can stand with a little bit of support, unless you'll balance her really well, then she can stand on het own. Her ankles, knees, arms and neck can be carefully bended. She can even wave at you ;-)

I have made her out of  interlock, doll jersey, in a light brown skin colour. Her head is needle felted with clean white wool from New Zealand and around the armature is organic wool from Germany.

Her hair is a crochet wig, made out of a mohair weft and mohair yarn in almost black, with a red glow. It can be brushed and styled carefully.

Muscari is 42 cm/16,5" tall.

Her wardrobe consists of:

-Her organic cotton batist wings.

-Underwear, made of cotton pointelle jersey. 

-knee-length socks, in pointelle, as well.

-A skirt made of Liberty, "apple", fabric.

-A raglan blouse of Liberty "Into the leaves", which closes with a vegan leather string.

-Woolen schoes and an acorn necklace, made by Vaida Petreikis.

-And Muscari carries around her sweet baby sister.

NOTE:

This doll is too vulnerable for child play.
