Art doll - Annabelle

Item 14 of 14
Overview

Annabelle is a tender soul, who likes to read or day dream in a cosy corner of the house. But she also likes warm cuddles.

She is a 42 cm/16,5" tall natural fiber art doll.

She is fully pose-able (standing with a little support). In the core of her body and limbs is a wire armature, covered in wool and needle sculpted. Her ankles, knees, wrists, arms and neck can be bent. She can keep her arms up and even has a spine to give her a nice posture.

I have made her out of interlock, doll jersey, in a pale skin colour. All seams are double stitched. Her face is needle sculpted with clean white wool of extra quality. And around the armature is organic wool from Germany rolled and felted. She has a cute bum and a belly button :-)

Her hair is made out of the softest mohair locks and mohair/silk yarn in a peachy very light brown. It is best to leave her hair as it is, but it can be styled carefully. A little mohair brush is included.

Annabelle will bring with her:

  • Her own little dolly. It makes her feel at home, wherever she will live.
  • Bloomers and singlet out of a romantic poplin.
  • Pointelle jersey socks.
  • A puff sleeve tunic/dress and a seperate pierrot collar. Made of a recent Liberty flower fabric, in ecru, beige and the same grey as Annabelle's eyes.
  • A baby cord apron dress.
  • Baggy pants, made of beige herringbone linen.
  • And a little maintenance set, containing doll blush, tiny rubber bands and a small mohair brush.
  • Of course, woolen shoes  by Vaida Petreikis are included, as well.

NOTE:

This doll is too vulnerable for child play.
