Levi - a 16''/42 cm tall Handmade Waldorf Doll

Levi is 16'' / 42 cm tall.  

She's made of Dutch tricot from "De Witte Engel", in a sunkissed skin colour and she’s filled with clean organic sheep wool.
Her eyes are embroidered with DMC silky thread, in a soft dark green. Her mouth is a simple stitch of embroidery silk. 
She has a belly button and a cute butt.
She can sit by herself and stand with a bit of support.

Her hair is crochet of Wild Large Loop Mohair yarn, in medium brown. 

Levi will bring her own little Pilou cuddle dolly!

She is wearing:
-Wine red pointelle jersey undies. And a head band of the same fabric
-Tights and T-shirt made of rib jersey in a black/cream stripe.
-A old pink, linen dress, with tread winded buttons.
-And a reversible quilted jacket made of Liberty fabric.

NOTE: This doll, is not suitable for children under 3 years old, from a pedagogical point a few and because of small parts / safety!

I have learned to make traditional Waldorf dolls many years ago. Over the years, I have designed my own pattern and found ways to make the dolls of better quality and look more natural. Even though the techniques have changed, my dolls are still traditional Waldorf dolls. 
They are made of natural fibres, look simple, have a neutral expression and are made with a lot of love. 
My dolls are firmly stuffed, for durability, but not as hard as the dolls, made for collectors. I like my dolls to feel cuddly for young children.
