Wild Mohair yarns for making doll's wigs, produced in the United Kingdom for Debbie Poole of Little Oke Dolls. She has a lot of knowledge and experience.

The mohair fibres on the binder are long and soft. Long hairs on the wig, is what dollmakers want, right?

We have three kinds:

1) Wild Brushable Mohair (straight). This is suitable for crochet and knitting and then firmly brushing it out (needle thickness +/- 3.5 mm.). The result is straight hair. I prefer crochet, to get a fuller wig and you don't see the stitches.

2) Wild Large Loop Mohair (bouclé). This is suitable for crochet and knitting (needle thickness +/- 4.5mm.) The result is a curly wig, but you can also brush it out. This yarn works a lot faster, but when brushed out, it will give slightly less hair, than on a crochet straight mohair wig.

3) Wild Small Loop Mohair (bouclé). This is suitable for crochet and knitting (needle thickness +/- 3.5mm.) But not so much for brushing out. This yarn looks especially nice on smaller doll.
