Lori - a 16''/42 cm tall Handmade Waldorf Doll

Lori is 16'' / 42 cm tall.  

She's made of Dutch tricot from "De Witte Engel", in a fair skin colour and she’s filled with clean organic sheep wool.
Her eyes are embroidered with DMC silky thread, in brown. Her mouth is a simple stitch of embroidery silk. 
She has a belly button and a cute butt.
She can sit by herself and stand with a bit of support.

Her hair is crochet of Wild Large Loop Mohair yarn, in caramel. The braid can be taken out and styled in a different way. But, it is not recommended to leave the hair loose.

-Lori will bring her own little Pilou cuddle dolly!

She is wearing a mix and match outfit:
-Panty's made of pink pointelle jersey.

-A short sleeve smock dress made of denim chambray.

-Pointelle jersey tights and long sleeve T-shirt, in the colour red wine.

-A cotton crochet collar.

-A skirt, made of Liberty fabric "Emma and Georgina", which can be used as an under skirt or seperately as a summer skirt.

I have learned to make traditional Waldorf dolls many years ago. Over the years, I have designed my own pattern and found ways to make the dolls of better quality and look more natural. Even though the techniques have changed, my dolls are still traditional Waldorf dolls. 
They are made of natural fibres, look simple, have a neutral expression and are made with a lot of love. 
My dolls are firmly stuffed, for durability, but not as hard as the dolls, made for collectors. I like my dolls to feel cuddly for young children.
